Leading London headteacher Alison Melrose has been appointed as director of client services at a tuition company.
Mrs Melrose, who is currently head of Cameron Vale School in Chelsea, will take up the post at Simply Learning Tuition in Kensington in January 2026.
Educated at North London Collegiate School and Durham University, Mrs Melrose has three decades of experience in education and a career across London鈥檚 leading independent schools.
She has worked as headteacher of the tiny since 2023, and prior to that was founding headmistress of Prince’s Gardens Preparatory School in Kensington. She has also worked as a teacher, headteacher, director of operations and consultant, among other roles.

Alison has also served at board level, led strategic school improvement projects across the independent sector, and contributed her expertise as vice chair of governors at a London bilingual school for seven years.
