Clayesmore, in Iwerne Minster near Blandford Forum, has around 648 pupils, boarding and day, and has been described by The Good Schools Guide as 鈥渁 friendly, buzzy school in a stunning location鈥.
Clayesmore’s impressive Gothic-style main house was designed by Alfred Waterhouse, who also created the Natural History Museum and Manchester Town Hall.聽
Founded by the educator Lex Devine in 1896, it moved to its current location in 1933. It lies only six miles away from another well-known country house boarding school 鈥 .
