Horris Hill School to offer GCSE years

A new head, Helen Wilkinson, has joined Horris Hill as new year groups are added

Horris Hill School

near Newbury, UK, is to extend its provision to age 16.

The 2 to 13 prep on the Hampshire/Berkshire border will be adding an additional three year groups, from Years 9 to 11, with the first class set to start in September 2027 or a year earlier if there is demand.

The boarding and day school has also recently appointed its first female head, Helen Wilkinson, who will lead the changes, .

A trained senior school specialist in English and drama,聽she has previously led all-through schools. Most recently, she led Brighton College Abu Dhabi and Le R茅gent International School in Switzerland.
